Single-Origin Ceylon Coffee: Smooth, Low-Acid & Worth Trying

Sri Lanka is world-famous for tea — but its highlands also produce something special: single-origin Ceylon coffee. If you find many coffees too sharp or acidic, this is one to try.

What makes Ceylon coffee different?

Grown in the cool, shaded highlands and hand-harvested, Ceylon coffee is lightly roasted to bring out a naturally smooth, low-acid character with notes of dark chocolate and tropical fruit. It's easy on the stomach and easy to love.

The single-origin advantage

Single-origin means the beans come from one place, not a blend of many. You get a distinctive, traceable flavour that reflects its terroir — the same appreciation coffee lovers increasingly seek, much like fine wine.

How to brew it

Ceylon coffee shines in a French press or pour-over. For something different, cold brew it overnight for an exceptionally smooth iced coffee. Add a pinch of Ceylon cinnamon for a naturally sweet, aromatic cup.
