Most three-tea gift sets are three variations on the same black tea. This one deliberately is not: something light for a warm morning, something spiced for a cold evening, and a spice that works in both — and in coffee, porridge and baking besides.

How to brew each one

Green: 1 teaspoon, water at 80°C — not boiling, 2–3 minutes. Boiling water is why most people think they dislike green tea; it scalds the leaf within seconds. No temperature setting on the kettle? Boil it, then leave it uncovered two minutes.
Masala Chai: 1–2 teaspoons in 100ml water, boil and stir 3–4 minutes, add 100ml milk, simmer 2–3 minutes, strain.
Cinnamon: a stick simmered into the chai, or the powder stirred into coffee.

Who this is for
